Physical Therapy Education/Careers:
Those interested in a potential career in physical therapy should have a strong foundation of science classes in high school and college. Physical therapy schools require academic prerequisites including but no limited to biology, physics, anatomy, physiology, chemistry, statistics, and psychology. Currently, physical therapists graduate from a 4-year program with a Bachelor's degree. They then attend graduate school for 2-3 years and graduate with a Master's or Doctorate degree. Physical therapists are licensed individually by state.
