Occupational Therapy Education/Careers:
Occupational therapy practitioners are skilled professionals whose education includes courses in biology, anatomy/physiology, sociology, psychology, math and physics. The occupational therapist can become a professional with a masters, or doctoral degree. Following the completion of coursework, an occupational therapist must complete clinical internships in a variety of health care settings, and pass a national examination. Each state also has separate expectations in order for an occupational therapist to practice in that state.
